What We’re About

At Dogs Furrst, everything we do starts with trust — yours, and your dog's.

We're a force-free dog walking and training service built on the belief that every dog deserves to be truly understood. Whether we're exploring the great outdoors together or working through something new, our approach is the same: patience, positivity, and deep respect for the individual dog in front of us.

Our walks are more than exercise — they're adventures shaped by nature, designed to nurture your dog's confidence, curiosity, and sense of belonging. Our training is rooted in the same values: science-backed, reward-based methods that strengthen the bond between you and your dog, never strain it.

We don't believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. We believe in reading your dog, meeting them where they are, and celebrating every small win along the way.

Because when dogs feel safe, seen, and supported — that's where the magic happens.

Rooted In Trust · Guided By Nature · Focused On Harmony

Charlotte

After years in the fast-paced world of tech start-ups, I chose to follow a path that felt far more meaningful to me — working with dogs. That decision led to the creation of Dogs Furrst, where my focus is firmly on the wellbeing, happiness, and individuality of every dog in my care.

I’m a qualified trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and hold an Open College Network accredited Level 3 qualification in Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour. These qualifications weren’t earned by simply attending courses — they required in-depth study, practical application, and formal assessment by peers across a wide range of topics. As an IMDT member, learning doesn’t stop once you qualify; I’m required to continue my professional development every year to ensure my knowledge stays current and evidence-based.

I’m incredibly proud of the calm, respectful dynamic I’ve built with the dogs I work with, and I owe that to both my ongoing education in canine behaviour and my commitment to doing right by the dogs themselves. My aim is always the same: to support dogs in feeling safe, understood, and confident — and to help owners build lasting, trusting relationships with them.

Ernesto

Resident Pooch and Supawvisor. A seasoned gent, he bravely leads the pack when things get a bit wild. Despite being a full pug, Ernesto is a delightful anomaly—perhaps a border collie in a past life. His passion? Chasing a ball for hours, outlasting even the Labradors! While he's a bit smug about his fitness, Ernesto stays humble with classic pug traits, like five-minute sneezing marathons (usually into your face) and adorable wee-wee cartwheels. In a nutshell: he's the love of our life, and he knows it!

We are just a small part of Dogs Furrst. Why not meet the pooches that walk with us too! Check out our gallery and prepare to go “awww!”
